Privacy Policy

This site collects as little personal data as it can. This policy explains what is recorded when you visit, why, how long it is kept and what rights you have.

Last updated: 19 October 2026

01Who is responsible

This policy applies to shopbrowselinen.com (“this site”). The operator of this site is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us about privacy at contact@shopbrowselinen.com.

02What data is collected

This site has no user accounts and no comment section; the contact form only sends your message to us by email. When you visit, the web server automatically records standard technical information in its log files:

  • your IP address;
  • browser type and version, and operating system;
  • the pages you request and the referring page, if any;
  • the date and time of each request.

If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

Please do not send DNA raw data, test results or other genetic information to this site. We do not need it and do not process it.

03Cookies

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to be delivered securely may be set by the hosting environment. Websites you reach through outbound links or buttons, including third-party offers, may set their own cookies; their own cookie and privacy policies apply.

04Third-party services

Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address and browser information in order to deliver the font files. Google’s privacy policy applies to that processing. No other third-party scripts are loaded by this site.

05Why the data is used

  • to deliver pages to your browser and keep the site running;
  • to detect and prevent abuse, errors and security problems;
  • to answer messages you send us.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, working website and, for emails, responding to your request. Data is not sold and is not used for profiling or advertising.

06How long data is kept

Server log files are kept for a limited period, normally no longer than needed for security and troubleshooting, and are then deleted or anonymised. Emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your message and any follow-up, unless a longer period is required by law.

07Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • rectification of inaccurate data;
  • erasure of your data where there is no reason to keep it;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to request restriction of processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work.

08Making a privacy request

Send your request to contact@shopbrowselinen.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may ask for information to confirm your identity, such as the approximate date and time of your visit, before acting on a request about log data.

09Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the site or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
